Talent sourcing and pools

Stop waiting for the right person to find your post.

An applicant list only holds the people who saw your vacancy and chose to apply. Sourcing lets you go looking for the skills you need, and pools keep the people you find within reach for this role and the next.

  • Applicants alone limit the field

Strong candidates are often busy, passive or simply missed the post. Waiting for them costs time.

  • Search narrows it to the right people

Filter talent profiles and parsed CVs by role, skills, experience and location.

  • Pools turn effort into an asset

Every good candidate you find stays organised, so repeat hiring starts with a shortlist, not a blank page.

  1. Search by what the role needs

Set the role, required skills, years of experience and location. Results show which skills each person matches.

  2. Review why they fit

Each suggestion explains itself: matched skills, relevant experience, completed assessments and any gaps.

  3. Save them to a pool

Group people by skill, location or programme. Return to the pool when a similar role opens.

Working demo with sample data

Sourcing searches talent profiles and CVs held in GetLinked: people who have joined the platform and CVs your team uploads.

Job posting

Publish roles that reach the right people.

Describe the role clearly, then target it by location, industry and skills. Published jobs are shown to relevant talent on GetLinked, and every application lands in that job's pipeline.

  • Say what the role really is

Responsibilities, qualifications, pay, work arrangement and what your team is like.

  • Target by what matters

Location, industry, skills and experience shape who the role is recommended to.

  • Applications arrive organised

Each applicant becomes a structured profile in the job's pipeline, ready to screen.

Bulk CV parsing and screening

From a folder of CVs to a shortlist you can defend.

Whether CVs come from applications, an email inbox or a careers fair, upload them together and work with structured profiles instead of documents.

  1. Upload in bulk

Add CVs as PDF, DOC, DOCX or plain text, as many as the role brings in.

  2. Extract the details

Work history, education, skills, certifications and languages become fields you can search.

  3. Filter on your criteria

Combine skills, roles, keywords, experience and qualifications to find who fits.

  4. Organise the best

Move suitable profiles into a pool or a job pipeline in one step.

Automated extraction can misread unusual layouts. Check parsed details before you act on them.

Assessments and proctoring

Evidence of skill, gathered the same way for everyone.

A structured assessment gives every candidate the same chance to show what they can do, and gives your team results it can compare.

Skill

Skill assessments

Problem solving, communication, aptitude and other abilities the role relies on.

Technical

Technical assessments

Role-specific knowledge, from programming and data to finance and industry exams.

Personality

Personality assessments

How someone prefers to work, to inform conversations about team fit.

Proctored, scored and ready to compare.

Build assessments from scratch, templates or question banks and send secure invitations. Proctoring monitors the session, and each completed test produces a report.

  • Integrity for remote tests

Violations like tab changes, window switching, extra people in view, phones in frame, screenshot attempts and face mismatches are flagged with timestamps.

  • Reports by competency

Scores, strengths and gaps, kept on the candidate's record in the pipeline.

  • Built for volume

Suited to graduate programmes, internships and other large intakes.

Assessments are one input. Combine results with interviews and experience, and never rely on a single score to decide. See the full assessment and proctoring tour.

Pipeline management

Know where every candidate stands.

Each job has its own pipeline. Candidates from applications, sourcing and pools sit side by side, and move from new to hired as your team reviews them.

  • Stages that match your process

Screening, assessment, interview, final review and offer, visible at a glance.

  • Everything on the candidate

CV details, assessment reports and notes stay with the person, not in an inbox.

  • One view for the team

Invite colleagues when you set up your company so hiring decisions are made together.

Candidate recommendations

Suggestions that show their working.

GetLinked compares candidate profiles, CV details and assessment results with your role's requirements, and suggests people who align. Every suggestion comes with its reasons, including gaps.

  • Transparent reasons

See matched skills, comparable experience and completed assessments behind each suggestion.

  • A starting point, not a verdict

Recommendations help you look in the right places. Your team decides who moves forward.

What is GetLinked?

GetLinked is a recruitment and talent platform. Recruiters use it to post jobs, find and organise candidates, parse CVs in bulk, run assessments and manage hiring pipelines.

Talent use it to build a professional profile, improve their CV, write tailored cover letters, take assessments and find jobs.

How does GetLinked support talent sourcing?

As well as collecting applications, you can search talent profiles on GetLinked by role, skills, experience and location. GetLinked also suggests profiles that align with a role's requirements, so you can reach suitable people before they apply.

What is a talent pool?

A talent pool is a saved group of candidates you want to keep track of, such as backend engineers in Lagos or this year's graduate intake.

When a similar role opens, you start from people you have already found and reviewed instead of beginning the search again.

How does CV parsing work?

Upload CVs in PDF, DOC, DOCX or plain text. GetLinked extracts details such as work history, education, skills and certifications into a structured profile, including skills shown in experience descriptions even when the exact keyword is missing.

You can then search, filter and group candidates. As with any automated extraction, check the parsed details before you act on them.

What assessment capabilities are available?

Skill, technical and personality assessments. You can build your own or start from templates and question banks, and turn on proctoring, which monitors signals such as webcam presence and tab switching during the test.

Each completed assessment produces a report. Treat results as one input alongside interviews and experience, not a verdict on their own.

Can recruiters organise candidates into pipelines?

Yes. Each job has a pipeline with stages such as screening, assessment, interview and final review. You can move candidates between stages and see where everyone stands in one view.

How can an organisation get started?

Create a recruiter account and choose how you recruit: personal talent sourcing, HR personnel or agency. Confirm your email with a six-digit code, then find your company or register it with its website, industry, size and logo.

Verify your company email, invite team members if you want to hire together, and go to your dashboard.
